Leaderboards and badges
How you are ranked against everyone else, and what the badges on your profile mean.
The point of a death race is finishing it. Leaderboards show how far through each race everyone is, and badges mark the milestones along the way. Both are free with any account.
How ranking works

See where you rank on each race, and globally, against everyone else tracking.
You are ranked on the percentage of the race you have watched, not the raw number of films. That keeps races of different sizes comparable and means a small race is not an easy win.
- Percentage watched, highest first.
- Hours watched breaks a tie — if two people are both on 80%, the one who sat through more runtime is ahead.
- Who got there first breaks it if the hours are level too.
Every race and year has its own leaderboard, and the combined races have theirs. Predictions play no part in any of them — your ballot does not affect your rank.
Where to find them
- The Leaderboard tab on any race page, for that race and year.
- The Friends tab on the same page, which is the same table narrowed to people you have added.
- Mega Death Race and Mecha Death Race, which each carry a top-ten of their own.
Leaderboard rows show a name, an avatar and progress. Supporters carry a badge next to their name; see the tiers below.

The per-race Stats tab covers the race you are looking at. For the picture across everything you have watched, donators and subscribers can add watch stats, top-rated films and their rating spread to their public profile.

Earn badges for completing races and hitting milestones.
Badges are awarded automatically for completing races and reaching milestones — there is nothing to claim. They appear on your profile, and on your public profile if you have one and have chosen to show that section.
